Nutritional therapy is the application of evidence-based nutritional science in the promotion of health, peak performance and individual care. Our highly skilled and experienced nutritionist uses a wide range of tools to assess and identify potential nutritional imbalances and understand how these may contribute to your symptoms and health concerns.
Common issues our patients face could include:
- Weight/fat loss
- Cardiovascular disease
- Female hormonal health
- Disordered eating
- Body composition
- Injury management
- Energy and sleep disruption
- Inflammatory conditions
With the use of dietary analysis, food and dietary counselling, our Nutritional Therapist will work with you to build a highly personalised lifestyle plan.
You will start your nutrition journey with a consultation, for your therapist to get a clear picture of how we can be of help to you and to understand the challenges you have been facing. You will leave with a clear understanding of what your therapist has found and what options are available to you to help you move forwards.
This will be followed by email support, a highly personalised plan built around the findings and an agreed package to best support you towards your goal.
What to expect from a nutrition consultation
A nutrition consultation starts with a detailed case history. This is where your clinician will take plenty of time in getting to know you and your goals, and how your current symptoms are affecting you.
This all helps your therapist form a diagnosis and through nutritional science, develops a personalised, safe and effective nutrition and lifestyle programme.
At this point, your clinician will explain to you their findings and what options are available to you through treatment and referral, if necessary.
